Prepare to be mesmerized by InnerGlow 2025, Tai Kwun’s signature 3D architectural-mapping projection, returning for the Chinese New Year season from January 26 to February 14, 2025. This free event transforms the historic Tai Kwun complex into a dazzling display of art, light, and music, offering a unique cultural experience for tourists and locals alike.

A “Garden of Reflection”
This year’s InnerGlow features a collaboration with internationally acclaimed local new media artist Hung Keung, who presents a vibrant visual journey called “Garden of Reflection” at the Parade Ground. This immersive experience explores the relationship between traditional Chinese characters and contemporary digital art, creating a dialogue between cultural heritage and technological innovation. “Garden of Reflection” extends onto the Pottinger ramp, enhancing the Parade Ground entrance with an InnerGlow animation that features characters shifting among vibrant flowers, creating a sensory tunnel.

InnerGlow Searchlight: A Showcase of Emerging Talent
In parallel with “Garden of Reflection”, InnerGlow Searchlight showcases nine works from student artists, transforming the Prison Yard into a massive creative workshop space. This mentorship program, guided by The Electric Canvas and local multimedia artist Ng Tsz Kwan, encourages young talents to broaden their artistic practices and enrich their skills in animation development.
